In the third quarter of 2024, the top cryptocurrency apps on Android in Nigeria demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Tonkeeper — TON Wallet saw significant fluctuations in weekly downloads, ranging from around 79K to over 424K. Despite no revenue for most of the quarter, it generated approximately $266 in the final week of September. The app's active users increased steadily, starting at 1.16M and peaking at around 1.78M before slightly declining to 1.59M.

Bybit: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto experienced a notable increase in downloads, especially in mid-September with figures peaking at approximately 472K. Active users also rose, reaching a peak of 692K in the same period.

Bitget Wallet: Crypto and BTC had a dramatic rise in weekly downloads, peaking at over 545K in late August. Active users mirrored this trend, increasing to approximately 811K in early September.

Bitget - Buy & Sell Crypto witnessed growth in both downloads and active users during the quarter. Downloads surged to 306K in late September, while active users peaked at 818K in the same timeframe.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto showed a steady increase in downloads, reaching a high of nearly 355K in mid-September. Active users also climbed, peaking at approximately 750K towards the end of the quarter.
